Ancient city theatre met with the audience 2 thousand years later
The theatre Prusias Ad Hypium Ancient City, which was discovered with the excavations in Turkey's Düzce, has welcomed its spectators two thousand years later.

Düzce University and Düzce Municipality launched an excavation in the Prusias Ad Hypium Ancient City two years ago, which is located in Düzce's Konuralp district.
After the excavations, lots of historical artifacts were found, and they also discovered a theater.
The theater has been completely unveiled with the excavations, and Performing Arts students of the Düzce University inaugurated the theater two thousand years later performing "The Birds" by the Ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes.
Two thousand people attended the play due to the fact that the inauguration took place two thousand years later.
