Celebrating its 50th anniversary, TDV aims to build bridges of goodwill between philanthropists and those in need around the world through this year's Ramadan donations.
Under the theme "Don't Forget Your Brother, You Are the One Expected," TDV will carry out aid programs in 81 countries and 417 regions, distributing 13,500 food packages to those in need in 22 cities across Pakistan with the help of staff and volunteers.
Additionally, 7,000 people will be served iftar meals at charity tables set up in Pakistan, and 2,500 underprivileged children will receive festive clothes.
As part of the Ramadan aid, TDV distributed food packages containing rice, flour, oil, and dates in the city of Thatta.
In a ceremony held in the city center with the collaboration of local institutions, 750 food packages, prepared with the support of donors, were distributed to those in need.
In his speech, TDV staff member Hüseyin Örs expressed Turkey's ongoing support for Pakistan, saying, "We are delivering the food packages and humanitarian aid entrusted to us by our nation today."
The program, which included a recitation of the Quran, ended with Pakistanis expressing their gratitude to Turkey.
