Explosive device detonated near the Israeli embassy in Cyprus

A small homemade bomb went off near the Israeli embassy in the capital of Cyprus early Saturday morning.
Police took four men aged between 17 and 21 into custody, Cypriot radio reported, citing the authorities.
The low-intensity improvised explosive device was detonated about 30 metres from the entrance to the embassy in Nicosia.
There was no damage to the building.
The device consisted of a metallic object filled with material used in fireworks, according to Cypriot media reports.
