Turkish firm Karmod exports plastic water tanks to France for industrial farming
Karmod has delivered 75 polyethylene water tanks to an agricultural business in Puy-de-Dôme, France. According to Karmod Plastics Group General Manager Talay Öztürk, the tanks will support industrial-scale drip irrigation and fertilization systems.

Turkish company Karmod has exported 75 polyethylene water tanks to an agricultural company in France for use in industrial farming, the company announced.
The tanks were shipped to an industrial farm in Puy-de-Dome, where they will be used for drip irrigation and fertilization, Karmod Plastics Group General Manager Talay Ozturk said in a statement.
Ozturk said polyethylene tanks are widely used in agriculture because of their durability, ease of maintenance and practicality. They are also used for water storage in residential buildings and for storing specialized liquids in the chemical industry.
In agriculture, the tanks are commonly used for storing fertilizers and pesticides, drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting, he added.
Ozturk said the company's product range includes single-piece horizontal, vertical, cylindrical and rectangular tanks with capacities ranging from 50 liters to 40 tons, offering options for different agricultural applications.
"For an industrial farm in Puy-de-Dome, France, we manufactured and shipped 70 vertical plastic tanks with a capacity of 50 liters each and five tanks with a capacity of 10 tons each," he said.
"The tanks will be used for drip irrigation and fertilization."
