Blinken warns Moscow not to transfer military technology to Pyongyang
In a stern warning, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken cautioned Russia against transferring military technology to North Korea, emphasizing that such actions would contravene multiple UN Security Council resolutions.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned Russia against transferring military technology to North Korea, saying such technology transfers would violate several UN Security Council resolutions.
Blinken and his South Korean counterpart Park Jin discussed "further actions that our countries can take with partners to intensify pressure on Moscow not to transfer military technology" to Pyongyang, Blinken told journalists in Seoul.
However, he did not provide any details on how far new measures against Russia might go.
North Korea, which is largely isolated, is subject to international sanctions because of its nuclear weapons and missile programme.
The US and South Korea "share profound concerns" about the "growing and dangerous" military co-operation between Moscow and Pyongyang, said Blinken.
The US and its allies fear that North Korea could receive advanced Russian military technologies in return for arms deliveries.
Blinken accused North Korea of supplying military equipment to Russia for the Kremlin to use in its war on Ukraine. Meanwhile Russia is providing Pyongyang with technology and assistance for North Korea's military programmes, he said.
The US and South Korea's military and intelligence services suspect that Russia received up to 1 million artillery shells plus further military equipment from North Korea since August.
The Kremlin said last month that Washington had not provided any evidence of such arms deliveries from North Korea.
