Libya clashes toll hits 55 dead

The clashes, which marked the most lethal violence Tripoli had witnessed in years, subsided late on Tuesday. This occurred following the surrender of the leader of one faction to a neutral force, prompted by the capture of a rival faction's leader that had initially ignited the conflict.
