Raisi: Iran to make Israel pay the price for killing senior general

"Undoubtedly, this move is yet another indication of the frustration, powerlessness, and incompetence of the usurping Zionist regime (Israel) in the region. There will be consequences for their actions, referring to the assassination of a senior Iranian military leader," Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi said in a statement while speaking about the killing of a senior Iranian general.

Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi vowed Monday that Israel "will certainly pay the price" for the killing in Syria of a senior general with the Revolutionary Guards.

"Without a doubt, this action is another sign of frustration, helplessness and incapacity of the usurping Zionist regime (Israel) in the region," Raisi said in a statement that added Israel "will certainly pay for this crime".
