Israel PM Netanyahu booed by hostage families during parliament address

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed parliament on Monday, families of hostages taken by Hamas fighters disrupted his speech, demanding the safe return of their loved ones. While vowing to bring back the captives, he acknowledged that it would require additional time.

Families of hostages taken by Hamas fighters heckled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday as he addressed parliament, vowing to bring the captives home but saying "more time" was needed.

"Now! Now!" the families chanted when Netanyahu said Israeli forces needed "more time" to increase military pressure on Gaza's Hamas rulers. Israel says 129 hostages are still held in the Palestinian territory.
