UNRWA chief says hunger in Gaza is "man-made"

During a press conference in Cairo with Egyptian foreign minister Sameh Shoukry, UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini stated on Monday that the hunger in the Gaza Strip is a result of human actions. He emphasized that this issue can be addressed and reversed if there is sufficient political determination, suggesting that the crossings can be used to provide an abundance of food for Gaza.
