Turkey has set up a group of 51 experts to solve Iraq's water problem, an official said Wednesday.
"Iraqi President Barham Salih visited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Istanbul last week," Turkish Presidency's Iraq Representative Veysel Eroğlu said at a news conference.
"We have worked on water, refinement, infrastructure and drinking water supply as well as irrigation water, flood protection, stream improvement and related facilities," he added.
Eroğlu said the dams in Turkey prevented floods in Iraq.
