Racism and xenophobia continues to grow every day in Europe, where some continue to pose as if they are defenders of human rights and democracy.
Refugees are forced to face hate crimes, while equality and freedoms are ignored on a regular basis.
The latest information provided by the Federal Ministry of the Interior revealed a striking truth once again.
Data has shown that in the first half of 2017, 642 assaults aimed at refugees alone were made.
In the first 3 months of 2017, 318 attacks took place that targeted refugees; while this number rose to 324 in April, May and in June.
On the other hand, 123 refugees were injured during the attacks in question.
The Federal Ministry of the Interior highlighted that refugee shelters were also targeted.
According to available information, 153 attacks have taken place aimed at shelters so far.
Marxist German journalist and politician Ulla Jelpke also said refugees were being threatened by Nazis and racists every day, adding that attacks were getting worse.
