The fire that swept through a 24-storey social housing block leaving scores dead, started, police confirmed on Friday, in a fridge freezer. Britain is now working with the manufacturer hotpoint and carrying out tests of the model produced between 2006 and 2009. Officials say that particular product has never previously been recalled. Attention is also focused on the recently installed cladding at Grenfell tower, home to some of London's poorest residents in one of the capital's wealthiest areas.
