Israel eases rules on cyber weapon exports despite of criticism

Israel is one of the world's leading suppliers of spyware. And often criticized for not being picky about its customers. The state is now planning to relax export rules on offensive cyber weapons.

This despite accusations by human rights and privacy groups that its technologies are used by some governments to spy on political foes and crush dissent.

While the U.N. and rights groups are calling for stricter oversight, in Israel things seem to be moving in the opposite direction.
