With all the ballots counted and definitive results released, "yes" voters across Turkey celebrated a historic outcome with enthusiasm. People flowed onto the streets with Turkish flags, chanting the name of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Sunday's referendum also saw a striking surge in "yes" votes in the predominantly Kurdish cities of Turkey's east and southeast.
Despite the HDP's divisive 'no' campaign and threats from the PKK terror group, "yes" votes were on the rise in the Kurdish-majority east of Turkey.
