The PKK terror organization's Syrian offshoot PYD redeployed more than 1,500 YPG terrorists in Afrin to fight against Turkey.
The United States backed PYD/YPG announced that 700 of the terrorists had already moved to Afrin.
Pentagon previously stated that no U.S.-backed groups are located in Afrin.
This development will contribute to the already-strained ties between the U.S. and Turkey, who are at odds over their policies in Syria.
