The West challenges Turkey

The "yes" camp earned a victory in Sunday's referendum with a fifty-one point four percent majority vote despite the explicit outcome, Western criticism is growing. European Union officials are adopting an adversarial position against Turkey and upsetting the will of the Turkish nation.

The Turkish people proved their devotion to democracy on the 15th of July, 2016, by braving tanks and fighter jets in order to stop the bloody coup for the sake of democracy.

On april 16, the same people went to the polls with a massive turnout of 85 percent, which once again underlined the strong loyalty the Turkish people feel towards democratic values.

The referendum was fair and held under the supervision of the supreme Electoral Board of Turkey, with the presence of all political parties during the vote counting.
