Turkish Airlines new deal

In a move to stimulate trade between Turkey and Lebanon, Turkey's flagship carrier, Turkish Airlines have signed a new codeshare agreement with Lebanon's Middle East Airlines on Thursday.

Turkish Airlines deputy chairman, Bilal Ekşi signed the agreement in the presence of senior officials from both sides at a signing ceremony which took place in Beirut.

This new codeshare agreement will broaden the commercial partnership between the two companies and their respective countries.

At the same time, passengers of both Airlines will be given more travel options between Lebanon and Turkey

Among the dignitaries present was the Turkish ambassador to Lebanon, Çagatay Erciyes. Speaking to news agencies he stated that, Turkey takes first place for Lebanese tourists and this agreement will provide more tourists from Turkey to Lebanon which will contribute to the Lebanese economy.
