Fruit export to Russia increases

With the normalization of bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey, a significant increase in fruit exports to Russia has been registered. Exports of six agricultural products to Russia in the first quarter of this year have fetched around $39.6 million dollars for Turkey. Sanctions by Russia on Turkish products including plums, peaches, nectarines, apricots, mandarins, and oranges last year had significantly decreased the export.
