Turkish President Erdoğan returns home after Moscow visit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan returned home on Tuesday after his one-day visit to Russia.

Erdoğan and the delegation with him landed in Ankara at 9 p.m. (0600GMT) following their Moscow visit upon the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As part of the Russia schedule, Erdoğan and Putin attended the inauguration ceremony of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019, one of the world's leading events in its field.

The two leaders also held a joint news conference following a bilateral meeting.
