A truck carrying refugees overturned late Thursday in eastern Van province's Tuşba district, leaving five dead and 37 others wounded.
The driver has yet to be identified.
Two National Medical Rescue Teams (UMKE's) and 11 ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
The wounded have been referred to state hospitals for treatment.
