U.S.-based, internet defense website millitarytimes.com claimed that the U.S. military equipped Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) and People's Protection Units (YPG) terrorists with advanced weapons.
On May 7 Shawn Snow posted on the website, informing readers that the Pentagon is equipping the PKK and YPG with the same state-of-the-art ammunition and weapons used by the U.S. Special Forces.
Night vision goggles, machine guns, advanced optical equipment are just some of the materials that were given to the terrorists.
The Pentagon denies any claims of sending military aid to the terror groups.
It is also known that the U.S. has denied previous claims before to avoid legal responsibility.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States.
