Liverpool will return to the scene of their 2019 Champions League triumph after they were drawn against Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the competition on Monday.
The two-legged tie at Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano, where Jurgen Klopp's men lifted the trophy in June, and Anfield will be one of the highlights as well as Real Madrid's clash with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, who are trying to win the European crown for the first time.
Manager Frank Lampard's Chelsea play Bayern Munich in a repeat of the 2012 final where Lampard captained them to the title in Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel faces his former club in Borussia Dortmund.
Lionel Messi's Barcelona play Napoli, knock-out debutants Atalanta also have Spanish opposition in Valencia, Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus play Olympique Lyon, and there is also a second English-German duel when last season's runners-up Tottenham take on RB Leipzig.
The first leg matches are set for February 18/19/25/26, the return legs are March 10/11/17/18. The final is May 30 in Istanbul.
For the first time only teams from Europe's top five leagues in England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France reached the last 16. Teams from the same groups and leagues were kept apart when group winners were drawn against runner-ups.
