German broadcaster ZDF received a bomb threat on Monday morning, leading to evacuations at its headquarters in the western German city of Mainz.
Police said several buildings on the ZDF premises were evacuated to ensure the safety of staff and others.
Experts from the State Criminal Police Office as well as service dog handlers with sniffer dogs were on site, said a police spokeswoman.
Further details were not known at first.
