Turkey's family, labor and social services ministry held a three-day seminar for 25 civil servants of Uzbekistan's Employment and Labour Relations Ministry.

The seminar that concluded on Saturday was organized by the Labor and Social Security Training and Research Center (CASGEM) of the Turkish Labor Ministry.

The program included issues on working life, social security, occupational health and safety, education curricula, employment issues, combating informal employment, documenting occupations and distance education.

Turkey has a significant experience in labor and employment issues, Erkin Muhiddinov, deputy minister of Uzbekistan's employment and labour relations, told Anadolu Agency.

Uzbekistan wants to take advantage of this experience to advance further on labor and employment issues, Muhiddinov noted.

Also, a group of Uzbek directors previously participated in a training program titled "Employment Promotion Policies" and "Occupational Health and Safety" in Turkey's capital Ankara, said Abdurrahim Senocak, head of CASGEM.

Senocak added the Uzbek delegation invited them to Tashkent for a training seminar.

This cooperation will continue to grow in the future, he said.
