King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met Saturday with foreign ministers of four countries that cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, according to the BNA news agency.

Al Khalifa met with the top diplomats of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his own foreign minister, in a meeting in which the ministers discussed regional and international developments and al-Khalifa praised their efforts on fighting terror and extremism.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain have accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and imposed a land, sea and air blockade.

They presented a list of demands to Doha to end the siege that includes shutting down the Al Jazeera news network, closing a Turkish army base and scaling back ties with Iran.

Qatar denies the accusation and insists the blockade is a violation of international law.
