Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day up 1.02% to close at 115,843.01 points on Monday.
After starting the week at 114,776.42 points on Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index climbed 1,174.60 points from 114,668.41 points at Friday's close.
One ounce of gold was sold for $1,772.00 by market close, up from $1,759.50 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $41.30 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Monday, ranging between $40.01 and $41.56.
