Saudi Arabia's air defense systems intercepted a ballistic missile above the capital of Riyadh, according to local media Saturday.
State television reported the missile was destroyed but semi-official al-Arabia television, citing an anonymous source, reported two missiles were destroyed.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
