Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Friday offered condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her mother's death.
Erdoğan conveyed his condolences in a telephone call in which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations.
Herlind Kasner died Thursday at the age of 90.
