Russia on Wednesday applauded Turkey's efforts for the implementation of the agreements on Syria's Idlib, which saw decrease in cease-fire violations.
"We see results of the efforts made by Turkey to implement the agreements on Idlib. The number of cease-fire violations decreased almost by 4 times, from 773 in September to 197 in October," Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for Russian Defense Ministry, said at a news briefing.
These efforts are important for the further normalization in the country, Konashenkov said.
He noted the withdrawal of militants and armaments in the region continues.
