President Donald Trump has denied ever meeting women who have accused him of unwanted sexual advances. An Associated Press Fact Check finds that claim is implausible at best.
Two of the women were on his reality show, "The Apprentice." Photos are in circulation showing Trump with some others. Another woman was a People magazine journalist who interviewed him.
Trump's claim came in a tweet this past week.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said later that the president was referring only to the three women who came forward Monday to discuss accounts of Trump's behavior that had aired earlier.
But Trump made no such distinction in his tweet.
His tweet broadly addressed what he called the fabricated stories of women he had never met.
