Former German MP sentenced to jail for sexual assaults
A former member of the Bavarian state parliament in southern Germany was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison on Friday for multiple sexual assaults.
Linus Foerster admitted to sexually abusing two women as they slept. He also videotaped sexual acts with two female friends and a prostitute without their knowledge.
Investigators later found a large collection of pornographic material on his computer, including child pornography.
The 52-year-old stepped down as a lawmaker and left the Social Democrats (SPD) when news of the investigations against him became public in late 2016.
