Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will be without a host of first-team players for the Super Cup clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, coach Carlo Ancelotti has said.

David Alaba, Arjen Robben, Jerome Boateng, James Rodriguez, Manuel Neuer, Thiago and Juan Bernat are all injured or lacking fitness, Ancelotti told a news conference Friday.

The Austrian left-back Alaba is the latest addition to the physio room having suffered an injury in a recent friendly defeat to Liverpool.

"It will be a tough and high-intensity game," Ancelotti said of the trip to cup holders Dortmund. "We're not in the best shape yet, but we can show certain other qualities tomorrow that are important."

Bayern have endured a tough pre-season, with several friendly defeats, ahead of their opening Bundesliga match at home to Bayer Leverkusen on August 18.
