Russia's Vladimir Putin sent Friday New Year greetings to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying, Ankara and Moscow will continue working together on "critical issues on the regional and international agenda."
Kremlin said in a statement on its website that Putin sent Christmas and New Year messages to the foreign heads of states, governments and international organizations.
Russian president is confident that the two countries "will continue to productively work together to strengthen bilateral ties and will actively cooperate in addressing critical issues on the regional and international agenda in the interest of both nations and in line with ensuring security and stability in Eurasia."
Turkey and the Russia will act as guarantor countries in support of the nationwide cease-fire agreed by the Assad regime and the main Syrian opposition groups and started last night at midnight.
