Widfires rage in British Columbia

Thousands of residents are being forced from their homes as wildfires rage throughout British Columbia.A state of emergency has been declared.The first fires erupted on Friday, electrical storms sparking more than 130 blazes.By Sunday, the number had grown to 220 fires with some 60,000 acres scorched.And authorities say, gusty winds and continuing hot, dry conditions could make things worse. Many residents in and around the city of Kamloops, are taking shelter, according to evacuation center official Gordon Davis.
