In a statement by Qatar's defense ministry, Turkish and Qatari forces concluded a naval exercise outside Doha on monday.
Rapid response exercises spanning over two days were conducted in Qatari territorial waters.
Exercises mainly comprised of combating maritime terrorism as well as piracy and inspecting suspicious vessels.
Exercise was conducted days after Turkish parliament ratified a military cooperation agreement allowing Ankara to deploy troops in Qatar.
The agreement is aimed to contribute to regional security through improving Qatar's defense capabilities and the country's effort to combat terrorism.
The agreement between Qatar and Turkey was signed in the backdrop of a two-month embargo on Qatar imposed in june by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
