Turkish authorities do not let German MPS visit Turkey's Incirlik airbase. Turkish Daily Sabah Newspaper reported that the German lawmakers' visit was considered inappropriate for the time being. As a reaction to Turkey, German chancellor Angela Merkel said that we are looking at alternatives to Incirlik for our troops in NATO like Jordan. We will continue to talk with Turkey, but in parallel we will have to explore other ways.
