Turkey to impose four-day lockdown from Saturday: Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Monday announced an extended four-day lockdown as part of efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The curfew will begin on May 16 and is due to run through to May 19, which is a national holiday, Erdoğan said in a televised address following a cabinet meeting.
