Protests blight the G7 Summit

Protests blight the G7 Summit. With G7 talks kicking off in Luca, İtaly on monday. Dozens of protesters clashed with police as they tried to break through the security cordon into the walled Tuscan City.

Outside the venue where the meeting took place. Greenpeace activists held a sit-in to protest against global warming and called on G7 countries to stay committed to the 2016 Paris Agreement.

Meanwhile, clashes between police and demonstrators broke out. Demonstrators let off smoke bombs in the crowd. As they marched behind wire netting approaching police lines. Riot police hit them back with batons.
