Merkel does not keep her promise

Angela Merkal, Europe's longest-serving female Chancellor is taking part in the elections for her fourth term. Born in Hamburg in 1954, she moved with her family to East Germany as a baby. She grew up in Templin, a small town in the north of Berlin. In 2005 she came for the first time to office and formed a coalition with her SPD rivals. She ended military conscription and ended support the nuclear power, after the disaster in Fukushima. In 2009 she formed a coalition with the Free Democrats but this coalition was troublesome. Four years later the Chrisitan Democratic Union was back with the Social Democrats. But the trouble does not come to an end.
