Following a peace deal between the farc rebel group and the Colombian government, President Juan Manuel Santos signed a decree granting amnesty to 3,600 rebel members on Monday. This is the third and final amnesty decree signed by Santos. Previously, the president granted two consecutive amnesties to other socialist rebel groups, in a move to put an end to more than five decades of conflict between the rebels and Colombian government.
