Turkey marks the National Sovereignty and Children's Day and commemorates anniversary of the foundation of Turkish parliament every year on 23rd April. People across Turkey attend ceremonies and lay wreaths at monuments of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
