Turkey hosts the most refugees in the world, more than 4M

In the seventh year of the Syrian war, millions of people have been forcibly displaced from their homes, forced to leave their businesses and futures behind.

The United Nations Asylum Agency has stated that nearly 65 million people left their homeland in 2017 alone.

Among the countries of origin, Syria is the most common country with more than ten million refugees, at least 5 million heading to neighbouring nations and a million to Europe.
