Russia appoints new Turkey ambassador

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Aleksey Yerhov as the country's new ambassador to Turkey.Yerhov previously served as Russian consul general in Istanbul for 2009 to 2015.From 2015 to 2017, he headed the department of crisis management.
