Amid strained ties between Ankara and Washington, United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is scheduled to visit Turkey on Thursday.
Tillerson will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan late on Thursday, and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Friday.
During their critical meeting, President Erdoğan and Secretary of State Tillerson will broadly discusss the United States' ongoing support to PKK terror organization's Syrian offshoot PYD/YPG and Turkey's anti-terror Operation Olive-Branch.
