Speaking at an AK Party meeting in Turkey's capital Ankara on Thursday, Turksih President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey is determined to create a safe zone in northeast Syria in partnership with the U.S. by the end of September, but is also prepared to act alone if necessary.
