An invasion like no other at Istanbul's Fatih Terim stadium. Thousands of bees swarmed around a camera positioned on the sidelines for the first game of the Ziraat Bank Turkish Cup semi finals. Only a couple of hours before the basaksehir-fenerbahce kick-off, honey bees completely covered the camera.
Istanbul municipality authorities arrived at the scene following the buzzing invasion, and got to work to solve the problem. Bee experts can be seen trying to clear the bees from the camera. Wearing protective suits, the team transfers the bees into a box. The key to removing the bees was in finding and removing the queen bee, automatically leading the rest of the swarm to follow.
