Vakıfbank has taken the third Champions League title after 3-0 win against Imoco Volley Conegliano, in an away game at the 2017 CEV Women Volleyball Champions League. The game was played in Treviso, Italy, home of Imoco, in front of 5000 volleyball fans.
The home team, Imoco, started the brightest but the first set went to the way of Vakıfbank 25-19. The second set was ended 25-13 with again Vakıfbank in the lead. Finally, the third set was a real thriller with it going right to the wire, before yellow-black Vakıfbank eventually took it 25-23.
Vakıfbank has the third champions title after 2011 and 2013 in the CEV Euroleague.
