Etnosport is an annual cultural sports festival, showcasing 11 traditional Turkic sports such as mangala, a strategic mind game, and knucklebones, a game played with goat's or sheeps bone. There are also different kinds of wrestling and archery.
Attracting competitors from more than 20 countries and formed with the partnership of Turkey and Krygyzstan, the World Etnosport Confederation aims to introduce, professionalize and prepare Etnosport for the olympic games.
A total of 843 athletes will compete. Etnosport Culture Festival will be organized between 11 and 14 May in Istanbul.
