EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini has called on the Bashar al-Assad regime to stop its vicious attacks on Eastern Ghouta completely. Referring to a Russian proposal for a 5 hour daily humanitarian pause, Mogherini said it would be an important first step but not enough to end civilian suffering.
