826 killed in last 17 days, 28 killed on Wednesday in Eastern Ghouta

Assad regime renewed its bombing of Eastern Ghouta on Wednesday, in an effort to slice the rebel enclave in two during its advance.

The regime's assault on the densely populated area has killed more than 862 civilians in the last 17 days, with 28 killed on Wednesday, despite the Russian truce and the UN resolution for a cease fire.
